All my Children,

I'm never online cuz I live such a busy life, but not as busy as some people I know. I've been working at Coyote a lot, rakin in the big bucks. Ha.   I could be making more though. I've thought about getting a different job or just another job working nights (I have applied at restaurants) since I pretty much only work mornings at the Club. It's real fun getting to work at 6 or 7am. But then I have the rest of the day once I get off at 2 or 3pm, except I rarely have any energy to do anything. I've been putting in 40+ hours a week, which adds up. I'd like to buy something. Something expensive. But then I remember I gotta pay for damn school. Boo hoo!

This past weekend was Tastefest in Detroit, fun as always. I went with Matt, Andrea, and Beth on the 4th of July and enjoyed the variety of great food and music. Actually the music wasn't that great this year. The only band I'd heard of was Coheed and Cambria, who I find annoying cuz the lead singer sounds like a girl. After Tastefest, we crossed the border to Windsor in celebration of my 19th Birthday the week before. We did a bit of bar hopping, and outta the 4 places we hit, only one carded us. Kinda disappointing. But I had a great time getting "krunked" til 2am, which may have been later but I had be at work the next morning at 6:30am. What a long day at work that was, let me tell you. Blaa! Literally.

This could be the only entry I do this summer, so lemme tell ya the rest of my plans for the summer: WORK. I'm going up north (Gaylord) with my cousins the last week of July. Should be fun (like every year) staying on the lake and ridin the jet skis and such. Me and Uncle Bryan also plan on cruising our trucks at woodward dream cruise in August and I may enter my truck in a couple more shows. The red streak could be getting a bit of a makeover this summer as well. I'm getting a new grill as a birthday gift but I haven't decided which one I want. And I also may get a new fiberglass hood with twin ram air vents, which looks bad ass. I also miss all my friends from school, so we should hang out some time, or  I'll see ya in a couple months. We'll go golfing then have a BBQ, right Jenna?

Well it's Friday night and I don't gotta work tomorrow. I guess I should do something fun then. Everyone enjoy the rest of your summer and I'll see y'all soon, gahick!

Friends-

School's out for summer! I just got back from my last final! I have a life again!

Overall, great first year. Classes were aight. I did way better this second semester, I'll tell ya that. It was the friends that made this year worthwhile. From my Bailey Bros to the Fantastic Four to the "Family" and other Brodians I've made friends with, I'll miss y'all this summer. Got some good memories. Sniff, I promised myself I wasn't gonna cry . But I'll see some of you over the summer, or next year, and maybe later in life. Thank God for AIM too .

Tryin' to keep it short. Lookin' forward to a good summer: time with the fam, workin, sleepin, maybe a vacation or 2, seein ol' friends. Maybe even some summer classes at a community college (I'm about to meet with an advsior). So I guess I'm officially changing my major to Studio Art with a specialization in Graphic Design. This prolly isn't the best school for that, but I just love MSU so much I don't wanna leave! We'll see though. I'll be here at least next year. Alright, that's my que to roll out. Everyone HAKAS (that's so 6th grade) if I don't see ya before I leave. I'll be seein' everyone again, I promise.

Later Days,
B-Funk

Gang-

I'd like to wish Kevin a Happy Birthday first off. This weather's been amazing lately, especially this past weekend. On Friday, my oldest sister, Natalie, and her boyfriend, Craig, came out to visit moi. Craig is an MSU alumni himself, so he knew a lot of the cool places to go. We ate at a Japanese steakhouse in Okemos, called Ukai, which was pretty amazing. It's almost like a Mongolian Barbeque, but the chefs do al fancy tricks and cook all the food on your table in front of you. It was pretty busy, so we were stuck a table with 5 other people. One of the guys was a little bit of a nut-job, having some strange opinions and stories, but harmless. I think he was just drunk. He told us they were out celebrating his release from prison. His family said we probably beleived him, which I could have. Then we went out to Mac's bar where they had a strange band performing later in the night. In Jeff's words, they were like a satanic band, kinda scary. So we left after their first song. We tried to head to other clubs, but most are 21+. So we ended up just chillin' in the dorms for the night. Everyone was pretty beat from the week.

Saturday, I did the majority of my paper for my writing class and finished it up that night. My topic is: Should terminally ill patients be given access to unapproved experimental drugs? I say yes, but lemme know if you wanna proofread it, especcially if you disagree with me. Then we'll have a big debate and deboccle! (sp?). And we got to play some ultimate Frisbee Saturday, always a fun time. Saturday night was alright, after I finished my paper. Watched the Count of Monte Cristo with Nick and Bret. Then I played some midnight B-Ball with Tom and BC, which was funny.

Uh oh, gotta hurry, class is approaching. Sunday I headed home to help Andrea's boyfriend Matt move into his new apartment in Royal Oak. After that, I played some Frisbee with my trainer, Uncle Bryan. I used to be a Klutz with the Frisbee (Barret Jay Klutz ), but Sensai taught me like a young grasshopper. K, gotta go.

Earthlings-

I'm drawing a blank here. But once I get going, it's hard to stop.

What is with our Spartans? Couldn't at least one of our bassetball teams have won it all? Maybe next year... There's always next year... Is that supposed to be some consalation? You could keep saying that every year. But they did make it farther thanI though they would.

Last Friday was Mad's b-day. I got her a State hoodie, cuz whenever I'm missing mine, I always know where to look. Except I got her one that's cooler than mine, so now I'm jealous.

Oh yeah, and that Friday night, my dad gave me and my ucle quite a motivational speech while we were all drinkin' at the bar. Those kinda pep talks are the best, at the bar. Basically, I gotta make some money of I ever want to support a family, blah blah blah and Zoology aint gonna do that for me. So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be goin into graphic design now. I'm "good" at it, it is less schooling, and it pays well. So now the question is, do I keep going to State? I will at least for another year. Maybe I should just drop out and become a lunch mom like my original plan.

We celebrated Easter with my mom's side of the family on Sunday. That was perdy cool. The food was good. Me and the guys got some Frisbee in on like the windiest day ever. You could play Frisbee with yourself if you wanted, the wind would blow it right back to ya. You could say I excel in Fribee, the one sport where I'm above average. Maybe I'll go pro one day

Enough about life back home, how's about here at school. The weather has been awesome lately, and it's really been affesting my school work. I've been doin a lot of football and Frisbee with the guys on campus. Today I decided to finish my book, Oryx & Crake, with about 80 pages of 400 left to go. So I read it down by the river by the rapids, cuz it sounds peaceful, and took some shots of the ducks while I was there. But once I was all done, I see now that I'm burnt. I got the classic farmer's tan goin' already. You'd be surprised what kinda work you can get done by skipping the usual nap now and then. But will I give up napping completely? NO WAY!!! Uh uh, not this boy's pintu!

I don't know when I'll be updating next. I got multiple papers to write. Natalie and Craig are comin out to visit Friday, so I must entertain them. Then I may be helping Matt move on Sunday with my truck and maybe a doctor's appt. Monday morning. I'd like to avoid going home this weekend though. I wanna spend more time with my friends before the year is over. So I'll be playin' it by ear.

Later Days,
Snoopy

Peeps-

Yeah, peeps are good. Happy Easter Monday everyone. The weekend went quite well I must say.

I arrived home Thursday night to be bombarded my youngest sister Emily and her friends, having an OC party. The OC is one of the few shows that you just have to watch with tons of friends, especially if you're a guy, or else you just look pathetic. Other than that, I just chilled with my dad, drinkin beer and watchin tv and chilled with Andrea while she painted that night.

Friday was pretty eventful, I must say. I woke up early to go to school with Andrea att CCS (College for Creative Studies). Her Illustration class goes from 9am-4pm! Yowzas! But it was cool and pretty laid back, and you come and go as you please. The prof's nickname is Scary Joey, who's cool, and you just paint and bullshit all day in that class. Then we went out to lunch at the Detroit Brewing Co. for fish and chips. mmmmmm........ After that I hung with Dave, Andrea's buddy, in the Graphic Design department, where he showed me what it's all about (since I'm interested in going into Graphic Design). They joke all the tuition money goes to the Graphic Arts department, cuz that building is the shit. It's so hi-tech. After spending a day with all those crazy artists, we were gettin ready to book out at 4 when Scary Joey had to keep Andrea after class. She was a naughty girl . No, it was good news. She was selected as 1 of 4 students from the school to represent CCS's Illustration department at an art conference in San Francisco in July! She was so excited she threw up! . I'm so proud of her.

Then Andrea was running late for work, so I had to hanf at Gus O'Connor's til I could get a ride. Natalie and her co-workers (salonists - is that a word?) were having an informal meeting with drinks there, so I joined in on the meeting. Yeah, I know what goes on behind the scenes at a salon. haha. I applied as a bar back/food-runner while I was there. Cross your fingers! Then Momsicles picked me up to go home. We all watched the State game in HD, the only way to watch tv anymore.

Saturday was kinda nice, kinda not. I did shit all day. Literally. I scooped my dog's shit all day. It was everything saved up from the winter. Blaa! I gotta teach Char to use the toilet, like Jinxy.

Sunday. Easter. Nice. Natalie took our family out for an Easter brunch at Morel's in Southfield. It was a very fancy buffet, where we were all treated like royalty. It was weird, but I liked it. I ate 'til it hurt. After that, we went and checked out our old house in Southfield. So many memories. Not. We moved outta there when I was 2 or 3. I'm glad I don't live in that area though. Then all 10 of us went to visit Papa at Wyandotte General Hospital, where we smuggled him some good food from Morel's (we know people). Papa's supposed to be moving into his nursing home this week, which we already decorated to make it feel homely (or is it homey? I know there's a big dif.). So yeah, then we went home to watch State beat Kentucky. Wooowee!!! What a game! Final Four baby! Yeah, that's my school. Haha.

Alright, would you guys prefer I update like once a week, with longer entries like this, or shorter entries more often? Too bad, I don't care. I'll do it when I feel like it. OK, back to my studies. Psht...

Later Days,
Charlie Brown

p.s. Siffle died this weekend. It's bad, but I already replaced him with a white goldfish with a red spot on its head. And the tank looks good now. Need some names for the new guy...
